A Typical Day at the FIAF Preschool

The curriculum is enriched with cooking, music, yoga, and movement lessons. Children also visit the FIAF library once a week for story time and educational games.

Half-Day

Mon–Fri, 8:30–11:30am / 1:30–4:30pm

  • Healthy snack provided by the school
  • Physical activities
  • Storytelling and reading

Full-Day

Mon-Fri, 8:30am–4:30pm

  • Enrichment (science, art, cooking, yoga, music, movement, or library)
  • Healthy snack provided by the school
  • Physical activities
  • Storytelling and reading
  • Lunch (brought from home)
  • Rest
  • Outing in Central Park or play-time in FIAF's Tinker Auditorium
  • Academics session 2
  • Enrichment
  • Dismissal

Junior Pre-K/Pre-K students also participate in a pen-pal project with preschool children in French-speaking countries around the world.

Afterschool Program

An enrichment afterschool program (Mon–Fri, 4:30–6pm), with activities such as music, cooking, theater, movement, and science is available for an additional fee.
